I'm about ready to paint the valve cover on our Maverick and as much as I would love to save the emission decal, it's not in the best of shape. The car is a 77' Maverick, but the engine is out of a 75 Comet. I checked out Jim Osborne's site, but they don't carry the decal for the 75' model year. There is a guy locally here who can reproduce any kind of decal and I was thinking of contacting him about making a decal for me, but I need a good, clear picture of the decal so I can make out what all the printing is on it, especially the top of the decal. Could someone with a 75' Maverick, 250 automatic that still has the original emission decal still on it send me a picture of it?
You might want to check with Chuck and see what he has. If you have something he doesn't have...he will usually have it made and give you a sticker for your troubles.
