    Nice motor!
Was it just me or did you have a hard time finding a timing pointer for that side of the motor?

Dave, when you get it all together, where are you going to be racing it at? National Trails by chance? I am outside of Canton, and it would be great to get down and see your car run. I have been down to National Trails for their big summer event, but it has been a few years ago. I think it is every July?

By the way, that engine is looking good!!

    Missing my old '70 Maverick
    WOW!

That thing oughta push the Grabber down the track. Better start
looking for a 10 pt cage soon. :D

(I couldn't help but notice the painted oil filter flange though :( - I
KNOW that it's gonna be removed.... and I know it shouldn't
bother me, but it does. I changed my filter after 100 miles on my
stroker (347) and found paint chips galore in the filter - after I cut
it open to look for shavings, etc).

Okay, now that I have that outta the way, good luck with the
install and subsequent WOT! That should be a blast!

    Keep us posted,

    -NVS Rick

    Dave,

Can you email me pics? I had thought about it before, but I assumed it was gone by now.

Please email me at maverick.guy@netzero.net .

Are you going to be able to get your car on the track this year yet? What nights does national trail run?

    Thanks,
