Anybody texture the engine bay? My motor is ready and ive shaved the towers. I need to paint but im unsure to texture or not. I seen the pic of the mavinator and i like it. Has anybody else done it? Pic would be great.

I have seen textured before....some look good and some don't.
The texture with a satin/mat finish is OK.
Its your ride.....do what you want :)

My preference is no texture. If it's painted nice and smooth it's much easier to clean too. I also prefer body color but that's just me. :)

I agree it's hard to clean. Although I saw a really sweet nova resto done with it and it looked great in black. I just hate to think about cleaning it.

I think the Satin Black looks best and more original but have also seen body colors that looked great also. Like said though, your car, you have only yourself to please. Makes things so much easier that way. haha
