    Will a Clevor fit without cutting shock towers in a Maverick I dont want to cut the Hack the Towers up on my kids comet but Im just wondering if anyone has put a Cleveland Headed 302 (aka BOSS) in a Maverick Before and what mods are necssary.

    The Maverick I have originally had a Clevor in it when it raced in B/SM in the late 70's and early 80's and the towers were not cut. Unfortunately I have no pictures but I will see if I can't get some from the original owner.
    It can be done but you have to build/or have built some very special headers and changing the spark plugs will be a nightmare.......unless the headers are 4 piece like the ones I have now.
    My Maverick now has the towers shaved to fit the 408 windsor and it's still hard to get to #3, #4, #7, and #8 is changed blind.
    Somewhere I have an article about putting a Boss 302 in a Maverick without cutting the towers, I will try and find it also.
