I have to replace the gasket on my exhaust manifold. I have a 75 with a 250ci engine. I have removed the smog pump and want to remove the piece that has the obnoxiuos "snorkel" on it. Is there an exhaust manifold I can get that does not have this on it?

I can't anwser your question, but I'm sure someone else on here can. What I can tell you from my 75- 250 exaust is to soak you manifold bolts or plan to use heat in the removal of those bolts. I had a hell of a time with mine,And if you break one off the angle in which you have to center drill for easy out tap is a tough one to get straight. So please take your time and dont be afraid to use the heat. For what its worth thats my experince. Mitch

Do a search for a post I made about the subject.

The Paddock sells a reproduction exhaust manifold that does not have any smog pipes on it.

Neato site. The tri Y's are intresting. I also see some kinda header coating that requires very little maintenance. Added to the other 100 favorites
