    recently got a 75 mav without exhaust sys. wondering if it was equipt with a cat converter. vin is a "T" thx

    I am pretty sure 75 had the cat.

    Skip it when you put the exhaust back together.

    Yep all 75s had cats. I cut out the hump and flipped it then welded it back,in order to install my bucket seats. Then i cut out the Y and added a pair of Flowmasters and loved it!

    Hmmm every single 75and up v8 car ive seen has had a cat,maybe the i6 cars were different...wheres the maverick experts at?

    I had a 1987 Ford F250 they came without a converter from the factory. It was exempt / over 8600 GVW.

    Lol you guys and your damn glasspacks. The falcon i work on sounds great with the 40s flowmaster/cherrybomb turbo2 muffler its a 6 also..
