Need advise. Just put the v-8 in the car thta had a 200ci .
The fan shroud is smaller than a v-8 shroud.

    Question is:

Can I take the fan off the 200 ci. motor and put it on the 302 so I can use the shroud even though it is a bit smaller?

    Hmmm

I dont really know first hand but if it were me i would try it ...

After i installed the smaller fan and shroud i would make sure i had a temp guage set up and run the car to check what temp it runs ... The worse that can happen is that it wont work ,In that case your only out a few hours of your time ... Just be sure your guage is accurate and you dont run it too hot ... can you add a slimline auxillary pusher fan in front ?

I don't think that will work.

AutoKrafters now sells V-8 fan shrouds. I would suggest buying one of those.

    Craig,

Thanks for the reply...and thanks to you, I have my 72 302 in and running(spacer plate)!

But I must ask why you thing it would not work?
Lack of air movement thus poor performance. Just plain wont fit!?
    Shroud wont fit on radiator?

Mark ( NO more cash) B.

The 6 cyl shroud is not "centered" like the v-8 shroud. It is offset to one side. Won't work with the v-8.
