Fast and Loud is showing previews of builds this season ...

There is a white big bumper Comet that they are doing in an upcoming show. LDO with blue side trim. Looks like a super-clean starting point.

I saw the car too. It was flashed so quick, blink of an eye, you missed it...

They showed a pic of a carbon fiber grabber hood on there instagram page makes me think they are putting a maverick front end on it

Can't understand Why ANYONE would want to covert the Comet front end to a Maverick ? Why not find a Maverick in the First Place ? I realize that Comet parts are a little more difficult to locate but not impossible . Dunno ?

Interesting, considering that Richard Rawlings hates Mavericks. They had a green one with big bumpers a few years ago, and he had no interest in doing anything with it. I hope they do a small bumper conversion if they build one.

This explains WHY the Maverick Front End .. it's all about the HOOD being carbon fiber .. There ARE no COMET fiber hoods that I know of . ( I have a fiberglass Comet Hood in my trailer that I've owned for twenty years with an oversized Scoop . ) Had the entire setup I purchased for a Drag Racer that ran a 72 Comet .. Hood , Doors , Trunk Lid, Bumpers , all fiberglass. Sold everything but the Hood and Rear Bumper. We'll see what this dude produces. I hope he doesn't change the Body Lines too much.
