that reminds me of my first pass. took me over 20 seconds to get down the strip burning both tires 3/4 of the way on a 1/4 mile track. gotta be insulting for the guy racing him though.:biglaugh::rofl2::yup:

eddie1975 ,at the very start of the video the cars are rolling forwardafter finishing the burnouts. You can see some smoke coming from the Maverick.

lol yea... i noticed the smoke from the burnout.
And the smoke from his 1/2 track burnout/run lol

Reminds me of the time i put some 25 inch tall narrow tires on my 390 FE/C6 combo in my 66 F-100 at the track just for ****s and giggles. It got rained out, but they let a few of us run anyways for the hell of it... flag type heads up racing... about a dozen hondas... myself and my best friend in his mustang... Needless to say we were top dogs that day. Mustang hooked due to having slicks still... my truck didnt hook at all.

Ended up making 6 runs spinning nearly 90% of the 1000' track with those tires after a burnout... was fun.. and those hondas sure hated to loose to that "old farm truck" that blew the tires off that far.
