fender removal tips?

    whats the quickest and fastest way to remove a fender? this is the first time i ever tryed it on a uni-body car, but it looks easier. just wasted to see if anybody had any tips or tricks. Thanks

    Step 1: remove all the bolts .....

    that's it .... :)

    If I'm putting the same fender back on, I keep track of any shims so they go back where they belong.

    Thanks guys, thats about what i figured.

    its the drivers side, im swapping the one thats on the comet to my maverick. i didnt think there would be a diffrence from side to side.

    Here in the rust belt I usually have to fire up the gas hatchet to get these cars apart. Hopefully yours is not like that.

    the bottom of my mavericks fender is pretty bad, it really is the only part of the car to have any rust damage, but the comet has rust on every paner EXCEPT for the drivers side fender, imagine that?

    there are 2 bolts under the fender.. and one through the door jam into the fender.. dont forget that one

    A couple bolts at the filler panel and 1 bolt behind the headlight door near the grill.
