Fender replacement

    when replacing a front fender what do you use in place of the factory caulk between the inner fender and the outer fender where they bolt together? :huh:

    I generally use 3m strip caulk anyplace on the entire car where it is needed.

    This caulk can be bought at BB auto stores? I thought this caulk only came in tubes.

    I even think O'Reilly has it now too ............ but yes, I get mine at the body shop supply house. Stuff is great for anyplace on the car that needs it.

    thanks for the knowledge O'reillys here says they have to order with one day turn around but i want to go by the body supply house tomorrow any way to look at paint so besides one box should be able to last me a while with as slow as i am.

    I got a box of 3M caulk strips from Napa and keep it stored in the refrigerator in the garage.
