    Hi all,
My grabber has had a booboo during its life and someone replace the driverside fender with another one. The fender sticks out in the front about 1/8 an inch more than the other side. Why is this? I thought the fenders were all the same. I took one off my parts car (71 comet) and have started working on getting it up to snuff. (Won't actually put it on until after Owensboro). Just don't understand why the one that is on it won't match up.
    Thanks

Is the gap along the front of the door and up around the windsheild off to? Have you tried loosening the bolts and adjusting the fender?

The fender fits fine at the door and windshield. It just sticks out a little at the front by the head light. It is odd because the thing looks fine every where else. Its coming off the car over the winter so when I figure it out I will let everyone know why. Just thought one of you might be able to tell me what it was.
    Thanks

Apparantly back in the day there were non-FORD replacement fenders available. Perhaps you have one ....

I wish I was kidding about the 1/8 ". Now A stretch limo MAV that would be cool!! I was able to move the fender back a little so it is less apparent but still there. I think dmhines might be on to something about the non ford fender. I'll let you know when I pull it if I find a for stamp on it any where.
Thanks as always for the help!
