Got my fenders painted, these babies are as smooth as glass, and they reflect like it too, we still have to do a 3,000 grit sanddown after assembly, but you get the idea, 3 coats base, 4 clear.

This is Viper Red and it looks MUCH more red in the sunlight than anywhere else, really shines. Daytime pics tomorrow.

Yeah Yeah more pics, I'm drooling on the keyboard just waiting. Are you painting it yourself? Nice reflection there!

It's raining today, but maybe the sun will come out to play later.

Wardf, I am not painting or doing any body work alone. A shop called "Madison Restorations" is doing the work. It's run by a guy named Harold Bone and man, does he do great work for the right price. He's doing all of my welding, straightening, and painting. Not to mention he has everything I need to put in an all new rear/front suspension kits while it's in his shop.

Let me know when you get it home I wouldn't mind checking out the car. Did you buy that POSI a couple of weeks ago?

Maverick1970: I did not get my hands on the trac-lok unit, the guy selling it just kind of disappeared, I suppose he sold it and did not want to get back to me. If all else fails, I'll just pick up some 3.00 gears or something to slip into my stock unit for now.

I'd be happy to show off the car (and will I ever!) when it's finished in the spring time. If you want to check it out when I get it back from paint, I don't miss a chance to chat with another maverick enthusiast.

    outside pics!

We're getting a new digital camera today, the one we have is from '98, but you get the idea, the light still won't do the color justice, but you get the shine.

Yes, that's me, and the clouds, and everything else it reflects like a mirror.
