Got a safety done on my mav need help heres what they said 1. need new tires in frount (i already have some just havent put them on) 2. seat belt for rear(i will go search the wreakers tomorow) 3. signal lights need to flash(help???) 4. reverse light need to work(Help???) Ok with the signal lights i replaced the flasher but still the same thing also when i turn the headlights on the left signal light comes on also my radio and wiper fluid pump arent working they stopped working the same time as the signal lights not the fuses i checked all those. The reverse lights i replaced all the wiring bulbs and that stuff i heard something about a reverse switch where is this and how hard is it to change.
I'd bet money you have some grounding issues. Almost every time blinkers stop working, even though they light up, Its a bad ground. Go over all your wiring and un screw the ground lugs. Sand the lug clean, along with the area where it attaches to the metal, and reattach. Bare metal to bear metal. After it is firmly attached, then you can hit it with a little spray paint.
