has anyone used a fiberglass grabber hood from autokrafters? i would get one form up22(where i got my front valence from) but i read that people have had issues with up22 hoods, carbonfiber is way out of my price range right now.

I think, no, I am sure I would fill the seams around the fake scoops. Sand the lines then fill with some resin and voila!! IMO I think it would look nicer, always hate the way the original scoops leak water all over the engine bay

I talked to a guy on the weekend, that bought one from Auto Krafters, he said it was horrible, I was kinda surprised..but it turned out he was a bodyman.

I never updated the thread, but thats what I told them to do, fill in the lines around the scoop. But the point of the thread was that the hood seemed to fit on the car well.

    cowl hood

i got mine from "Unlimited Products" in Hesperia ,Ca, it is a bolt on hood that retains the stock hood latch, good quality, decent fit,no major issues, they manufacture "SKIPJACK BOATS"so they have a little experience with fiberglass
