I am currently looking for some fenders and doors for my maverick. The problem is when I look for them the only thing I find are fiberglass. I don't hate fiberglass or anything, but i read somewhere that the fenders will not go well with metal hood and doors. Any help would be great, thanks guys (and gals).

Hit the nearest junk yard. Sometimes you get lucky and find one before they crush it.

Don't know if you'd be intrested or not but I have a complete 74 Mav with some very minor rust that got flooded by Katrina...lots of great parts. $400 would get the entire car. I'm in Pascagoula Ms. Let me know if you want any more info.

I don't think i would want a whole car just because i don't want to tear into it and ruin the body. The only bad parts on the car is a front fender and a right side door. Shipping would kill me also, a lot. But thanks anyway.

    Where is Bradenton?
    I am in Pensacola.
There are some decent old car yards out in the boonies, between us and Tally.
We have driven an hour or so out into the panhandle to seek these older yards out and get doors and such.
If you are not that far, I can get you general directions to one in particular.
I have heard rumors of another on the Bama-FLA border that has several Mavs along with many 70s cars. We have yet to check it out. After we cherry pick it a little, we will pass along the info... ;)

Awesome, thanks. Bradenton is down by Tampa and to the left of Orlando.
