File Download popup

This is a new error for me. On EVERY page I open in the forums, I get a FILE DOWNLOAD window popping up on me. Each link tries to start a new download. They are all titled CAxxxxxx.js (the x's are different each time) and they are apparently javascript files. How can I get these to stop?

 

Check that your browser's 'security' level is set to "Medium" at least.

You probably have a virus or adware on your computer...

 

I agree it sounds like you have some adware on your computer.

 

For anyone who cares, it was Symantec Norton Internet Security 2004 giving me problems, here and everywher else on the internet. I finally uninstalled it, and reinstalled IS 2002 and lost all my problems.

 

At leat you found out what the problem was
