Finally 11s

    1977 Maverick Drag car 399 engine,C4 trans,9"with 4.33 gear ET 10.25 @ 128 mph
    Last race of my season and finally broke into the 11s! The Mav ran 11.675 @ 115.278
    Also won 4 rounds with foot/brake car against Box class!

    I too was wondering what you did to get a mid 11. Maybe swaped out the 1/8 mile gears for 1/4 mile?

    Either way, that's pretty solid!

    Very Happy with this!

    Thanks guys...:dancing:! This was my first time at a 1/4 mile track in Napierville Quebec!
    The air was really good 10 degrees. Crossing the line at 7200rpm. 514 gears and 8" 5000 converter thanks to Lenny Bertrand of Lentech Automotive and Ottawa Cabinet's David Throop!
