I have not posted this on the board, and I kept it quiet for the last few months, but I know a few of you picked up on it. I bought a Tom's 1970 Grabber, and I had driven to Wisconsin (back in May) and brought it back on a trailer. I love those Maverick road trips! I brought it back to Ohio, drove it off the trailer and parked it in a friend's garage until I could get it titled and insured etc. Long story short I finally took it out yesterday for it's maiden voyage! I drove thru a cruise-in last night, and a guy driving a nice Cutless stopped and commented on how nice the car is! Not bad coming from a Chevy guy! Here is it's picture the day I brought it back to Ohio. I don't have it home yet, but I am hoping to have it in it's permanent stable Labor Day weekend! :bananaman
I'm glad that it stayed in the family here. Are you gonna make Craig cringe and stuff a V-8 in there? j/k- it looks to be an extremely nice car from the pics that I have seen in the past. Congrats and happy trails!! Seth
So how many owners does that make for that car?? Have fun with it Dave. Uhh what's that on the front of the U-haul???? Doesn't look like it was built Louisville KY
Owners: 1. Original Little old lady 2. She died....her son inherited it and put it in his basement for about 20 years (he was a doctor) 3. The guy I bought it off of 4. Me 5. Tom 6. Dave Better Picture http://mmb.maverick.to/attachment.php?attachmentid=42
yeah have fun with it and it is a VERY SHARP car, just do not let Craig hear you talking about putting a v8 in it
nice ride. don't tell craig about the v-8. take it to the roundup and he'll just think it is a real fast 6.
I had taken it with a disposable camera, and them developed onto a CD-ROM, but prints look a lot better. Craig, did you ever notice that the car's color doesn't photograph as well as it looks? In pictures the color looks more blue than teal? I have found that pictures for the most part don't do it justice.
