I Finally got my marti report, First let me say this is the car i bought off craigslist last year...im starting to find out that this car ....MUST have been eldery owned...it still retains the original front and rear license frames..from dealer it sold at.."burch ford" the interior in the car is MINT and original..only 1 tear in tear in passenger seat, of all mavericks ive owned ive never seen such a preserved car...headliner, dash/steering wheel...all mint...and has original paint...Now im confused on the Marti Report You read the break down... "5 cars equiped with power steering" "28 ordered with AM" there were tons of mavericks with these options, judging from my description...Whats the cars value? its a bucket seat floor shift car. P.S i also have 3/4 of original build sheet...
If you're confused about numbers, it is a hierarchical breakdown, with each lower level being derived from the level above it, if that makes sense.
youve got the only '71 200/auto yellow grabber with black interior, floor shift, tinted glass, am radio, white sidewalls, P/S and the NOX emission system
Nice car! FYI ... my buddy is bringing in of the the latest AutoWeek Magazines. They had a write-up on Automobile Firsts .... and Mavericks were the first car that Ford used Steel Belted Radials on ... at least I think that is what it says. He said there is a nice picture of a 71/72 Maverick Grabber in Autoweek with the article.
Nice car. Neat that it is a one of a kind. I don't think thaat will raise the value that much. Might be a selling point if you ever decide to get rid of it.
Thanks for the compliments! i think because of the condition..im gonna put the car in dry storage, i wish i could bring the car to the round ups...these pics do no justice to the condition of the car!!
Probably said steel belted tires. I dont think American manufactures used radials till the very late 70's or early 80's.
