Well, after months of waiting and $1,000 later, I finally got my new 302. It's nothing fancy. Stock. Bored .030 over. Edelbrock Performer Series intake manifold and an Edelbrock Performer Series 1406 Carburetor 600cfm. Just got her home yesterday afternoon. Already have it assembled and ready to install. Tomorrow's the big day when I (hopefully and uneventfully) start it up and take 'er down the road! Wish me luck!
It's a 1948 Farmall BN Cultivision. Our wood tractor. Actually, I know a guy that took a 283 chevy out of a 56 bel-aire and stuck it in an old Oliver! He uses it to pull at local tractor pulls and 9 outta 10 times beats the competition!!
Well, it is the next day waiting for great news and maybe a pic of that good looking motor sitting in the car
Well, didn't get it running yet. Maybe tomorrow, as all I have left to do is get the radiator in, hook up the hoses and tranny cooling lines, and put the rest of the spark plug wires on, and she's ready to go. I'd do it tonight, but it's after 9:00 pm and I don't want to wake up the neighbors! However, I do have some pics for ya!
