After months of slow progress, customizing headers and stuffing this motor in, I finished my fuel cell last night and had the opportunity to fire it off.

Sure was a relief to hear it rumble. I was only able to run it for like five minutes, it was getting late. "neighbor's lights coming on" Plan to heat cycle it a few times and take her for a spin today.

    Off the trailer

Got to the track yesterday. This is off the trailer, it isn’t pretty but it is what it is. Only got two passes in and as you can see the first sixty feet was a wild ride. I'm pretty happy with the results, plenty of room to grow for sure.

I like that 2.9 60 foot time. Must have blown the tires off it pretty good.:thumbs2: Brings back memories looking at those times.

What tires were you running??? or should I say burning off.:)

You get that thing to hook and it should really knock off some good times!

I should keep my mouth shut but what the heck. This was the first pass of the season. I've gotten so used to leaving off the Trans brake but since it was the first pass on this motor I figured I would foot brake it. Well needless to say, I brought it up, pushed through the beams, red lighted then stopped for some unknown reason then played catch up. The second slip, I used the brake when it came back down the rear unloaded and got little sideways.

Ah it all makes sense now. I'm sure a few more test passes and the routine will set in with the new motor. Cant wait to see some video.

I didn't even notice the other time slip, be cool to see the numbers once you're all dialed in with it.

I still need to get a tune on it, this is off the trailer as assembled. You can view the basic Spec's on my project website by clicking on my sig below.
