    Well, it's official. I've made my first Maverick act of 2010. I just got off of the phone from making reservations for the MCG Gathering in Joplin and the MCCI Roundup the following week in Hannibal. I hope to see some old friends there and make some new friends too. Hope to see you there.:bananaman

    That's a good idea, I'm going to book an extra night this year, so I don't end up staying at some weird hotel for the first night (again).

    Effie Patches and I will see you at the MCG Gathering in Joplin and the MCCI Roundup the following week in Hannibal.
    ...and like Dave i think we will book an extra day...they put us in one room the first night and then moved us to our reserved room the next day.:bouncy:

    ...took Patches out for about a 30 mile drive today...

    I have to call the hotel in Hannibal. We got a suite there. It's only $7 more. I told them we would be there on the 20th. They said the rooms and rates were only good from the 2ist on. The night before would be about $107. I told them we might as well spend another night in Joplin. Will call and talk to the manager on Monday and see if they'll honor that rate for Tuesday night too. I'll let you know.:)
