Flame Away Guys This guy on ebay has some grill centers listed as quarter panel emblems. I sent him a friendly email pointing this out and he sent back a rude email telling me I don't know what I'm talking about. Please everyone - flame away and send him an email http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7938851130
i see there are 4 bids so someone is trying to buy two grille emblems for less than 20 bucks. the ones bidding probably know what they are. this way they can get them cheap and resale for more. jmo...frank...
I sent him a nice email saying what they really were and how I had 10 mavericks so that made me better than his loser a$$.
sent him a e-mail telling him to get his info rite and advertiseing properly on e-bay... told him no mav,s came with these on the body... waiting in antisipation for his cunning reply
He's probably thinking about the 69 Mach 1 that had mustang emblems similar to those on the sail panels.
flaming He has pulled his horns in and sent a nice mess stating that he received 10 comments about this and he bought 12000 parts.Apologized for his mistake
He bought 12000 parts? I wonder if he is the guy who won the ebay auction a while back for the warehouse full of Ford parts that were locked away in an old Ford dealership?
Here's the reply he sent me: Thanks ,your the 11th person to straighten me out..( got these in a 12,000 part buy out )...still trying to figure out what some of this stuff is....
Thanks Everyone! Looks like it worked! Maybe in the future, if somebody is trying to help him out he won't be a jerk about it again. The original email I sent to him was friendly, not smart assed at all, and he basically wrote me back saying I was only guessing at what the part was and I didn't know what I was talking about. Really burned me up. Thanks to all the emailers.
