Can anyone point me to a place that sells driver and passenger floor pans for my 72 mav? I need to replace them there rusted out.

    Hi Matt,

Mav/Comet floor pans are not reproduced.
You mainly have 3 options for floor pans:
    1) find a donor car, cut them out where you need them, and weld them in
    2) use Mustang floor pans, if you do a search you will find the mid-late 60's mustang pans are close, but not exact drop-ins
    3) fabricate them out of sheet metal from scratch

Good luck with the repairs! (y)

I used floor pans from a 1964 - 1968 or 69 Mustang. I had to located the pans outward on both left and right sides, rebend the outer lip because of removing the original lip to move tehm outwards. I also had to hammer and dolly areas to get the stiffening channels to match up with the new mustang floor pan and the pre-existing floor pan in the maverick. It took a while but was well worth the time if you do it right. I also fabricated portions of the toe pans to make sure I got all the rust that was starting to show.

Great job on your floors. I wouldn't even have guessed that they were repaired if I didn't first see the in progress photos :thumbs2:

I agree! Vry nice wrk. Is that primer sprayed on, or is that powder coated primer? I saw them do a powder coating primer on one of the car shows Saturday.
