Hey people i bought a set of first gen mustang floor pans to throw in my sons mav. Is there a thread or article on here for tips on placement and fitting? I have looked and did a search on here with no luck. And maverick owners active on here around the south Ft Worth area pm me please also. Thanks
i did it to my car, as did many others..there is one good somewhat write up on it but i can't find it..as for tips. cut small, you can always trim more off your orig floor. keep test fitting! i got a couple pics in my gallery but it wont let me attach them right now for some reason...you will see where i had to split the floor pan a bit to get it to fit ect.
I only cut out the the sections that needed it. So front and back, but left the seat mounting location, it was still solid. It took a lot of slow trimming to get it right.
I was forced to do the full pans, as well as rebuilding torque boxes. This job isn't really as hard as you think if you have abit of welding skill, take your time
