Hello all. Im new to the forum and wanted ask a quick question. My grandfather had a maverick when i was real young. I dont remember alot about it, other then it was a two door with a 302 and with the worst golden/piss yellow exterior/interior. even as ugly as the colors were, that car will allways remind me of grandpa. So not that i have the money to spend i want to get one. Not one just like his but close. Id like a two door 302. I think i remember it being a automatic on the coloum. The question i have is all the ones i see for sale have a floor shifter. Did all the V8s have this floor shifter? Thanks in advance.

No....most were column shift. Floor shift is very rare.
