Good afternoon. I am going to use por-15 on the floorpan of my '72 grabber and just wanted to post some before and after pictures. When the carpet was ripped up I found a ticket stub dated from 1972 kinda cool, I believe it was a basketball game but not for sure; new york nets vs. carolina cougars at the carolina coliseum. When the application is applied I will post more pictures.
One of the best things about these old cars is finding old items inside. This past winter as I was working on mine I dug out stuff from the glove box. Paystubs from 1976, cigarettes, a digital clock with adhesive back ( all the rage in the late 70's). Looking forward to seeing you post some pics of you work. Dan
To late.... I tore out my seats last weekend and almost cried. I found the original build sheet....or so I thought. Actually it was about 1/4 of a build sheet. Someone had recently been working on the seats and must have pulled the other part out and threw it away...... Its a little upsetting to think you found a treasure and then someone snatches it away!!! JP
haha, anyway, We found our build sheet. it was as perfect as can be! We laminated it to keep it safe. We also have the window sticker the bill of sale, the cars history in titles, and the dealer brochure as well as the drivers manual. I was amazed with all the documentation our car came with. All for a hundred bucks! lol. -Todd
w.o.t., i hear the por 15 is great. they said be sure to use rubber gloves. i was told if you get it on you it has to wear off. how are the cowls and window seal? good luck...frank...
What cowl's are you reffering to? Do you know how difficult the window seal is to replace? I have not looked under them yet. Who carries the seals? Sorry Mavaholic the steering wheel is not for sale.
Daniel Carpenter Mustang Reproductions carries the seals. 1-800-637-8264 Autokrafters also carries the seals. I used Daniel Carpenter for all the seals I needed. They have fast shipping, and are good people. -Corbin
