I'm swapping the 250 out for a 93 302, I'm using the C4 tranmission , now have a terrible vibration, need to know what flywheel and balancer combination I need, the flexplate for the 93 302 is too big. Thanks !

How do you even have it running? the flexplate is too big and the starter shouldnt even line up. You need a 50oz balancer for the 93 motor, and a 50 oz. flexplate to match the C4. The flexplate dosnt have any factory applications to match that I have seen but they are all over the Classic Mustang websites and ebay.

You need a 50 oz imbalance 157 tooth flex plate. Only available in aftermarket since no production vehicle used them. The harmonic balancer also has to be for 50 oz imbalance.

Thanks , and I had the 250 flywheel on the 302 , I'm guessing jegs or summit for the flexplate

Whoa ... I bet it DID shake. Believe the 250 flywheel is zero imbalance. Yep, I'd look at JEGS or Summit.

I find some good prices on Amazon. Sometimes even cheaper then my employee discount at O'Reillys. Its usually best to find your part number first and then do a search for it.

Speedway has alot of good stuff and fair prices compared to most places but not always the cheapest.

Nice car and welcome to the board. Too bad you gotta pull the transmission out again.

Im sure Amazon or Speedway will get you what you need pretty quick. If yo uorder from Speedway make sure you select the 50 oz. option from the drop down box.

The one on Speedway says it wont work with a nOEM 12" convertor. Not sure whats in yours being tha tit came from a 250/c4 combo. Might a a question to post in the tech section. Post what you have and what your looking to dao and Im sure somebody has done it and can tell you for sure.
