do you guys power shift or just granny shift when racing? This is gonna be my first time racing a stick. I know I may need a shift light, that's next on the list. . .

Use the clutch until you can shift without breaking transmission parts. At some point you will realize that you have been shifting without the clutch - if you notice it start using the clutch again - you will go through fewer transmissions that way.
There is only one transmissionthat I would "power shift" and that is the Ford Toploader 4 speed. They are as close to "indestructable" as any transmission has ever been - aside from some of the racing transmissions.

Foot to the floor, tap the clutch while pulling the shifter for all you're worth! It takes some practice, but once you got it you can really haul!

    awesome, I'll try that . . .
I won't run the nitrous this time around, I'll have enough fun figuring out the clutch

You'll have a good time. I wouldn't race anything but a manual, I enjoy it that much! Let us know how you do Mo!

it has 275/60-15s. i had to roll the fender lips and pushed them out about another 1/2 inch. they will rub on the bigest bumps.
