Anyone know if the Ford Shelby style cast iron HiPo exhaust manifolds used on the 289 HiPo engines will work in a Maverick with the original z-bar an clutch linkage. The Repros go for $225 and say they will work on 65-73 289's and 302's. There is also a set of H-pipes available that bolt up to these for $70. It is listed as being used for 65-67 Mustangs 289 HiPo engines 1 7/8 inch. Anyone try this???

    Thanks - Dan

The outlets are at the wrong angle . Look at the headmon 88-400 shorties.

If I use the HedMan 88400 would a Muffler Shop be able to run a dual exhaust setup and route it around the Maverick Clutch Linkage and Z-Bar?
