Thought I'd post this so others could see if they wanted. Some cool color pics of the Maverick concept and 1970 Maverick. Several others too as well as all the Fords you grew up with and love still. The site opened I think it says last Feb or so, not like I was out looking for it as I stumbled on it as it was.

    Enjoy!

oh momma! that estate is something isn't it?

I wonder if the rear spoiler on the Grabber II is from the parts bin or a custom piece?

I like how the 1973 Grabber prototype:

    1. Has 4-lug wheels. ALL 1973 Mavericks were 5-lug.

    2. Alum wheels are 4-lug. Never seen a Ford factory alum wheel that was 4-lug and fit a Maverick.

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Must have been before 2005 because I had never heard of it!

Looks like a Grabber mixed in with a MII Cobra :D

    I like it thought!

Would be a cool car to clone.

Someone should replicate those quarter window louvers. They're the only ones I've seen that look decent.:thumbs2:

I'd figure the picture was taken in 71, look at the tail light bezels, they even look black, maybe they will release a color picture.

The Grabber II would have been a nice companion to the Stallion.

Looks like the Grabber II ford font is slightly different than the Cobra II font of that year.

Looks like they used the blacked out windshield wipers and some of the blacked out windshield trim. like on the Stallions.

Yeah...they were taking the Grabber appearance package to the extreme, at the end of the Grabber's life.
