Forensic Files on COurt-TV has an episode that showed last night where the victim of a murder was found with his head under the rear tire of a big bumper 2 door Maverick. The original crime scene photos clearly show a beat up two door from back, side and interior views.

The rub comes in the recreation scene, they use what looks to me to be a early to mid 70's AMC car as a stand in for the Maverick. They look the same, right?

Interesting show even with the wrong car in the recreations.:)

Yep! I saw it last night. Looked to be a 77 Maverick 2dr. Had been stolen from a retired cop. The murder was in 1980...
