AS you know, I upgraded the forums on Sunday and after the upgrade, the forum experienced some problems. I believe I fixed them all (except for the timeslip database), but if you see something that is not working correctly, please let me know ASAP.

I got an e-mail that posts that were read are still showing up as being not read. Can someone confirm this?

    Thanks.

    Here's more detail on this.

It used to be that after I read a thread and used
my back button, the page would refresh and show
the "read" status. Now when I go back I have to
maunally refresh the page to show the current
    status.

    Hope that helps.

Post being marked "read" works fine for me.

If the post title is supposed to lighten up after you read the post, then its not working for me.

I use tabbed browsing so all threads I read are open in new tabs and I dont use the "back" button. Im going to findout if this is part of the upgrade or related to the forum problems.

One thing I noticed is that before when I clicked on an attatched image it opened a new window and now it doesn't.

Try doing a "hard refresh" with your browser by pressing the CTRL and F5 key. This should fix pages that are not being shown as read.

I've never been able to tell which posts I've read or not. Posts I've just read stay bold and others I know I haven't read appear un-bold. Even a hard refresh doesn't seem to matter, it has never worked right for me. Everything else is fine though.

    Sam :)

Yes, Stefan, it has never worked right for me but it's minor so I never said anything.

Stefan- Thanks for fixing the attatchments.
Us dial up guys have to wait for pics to load so it's nice to bee able to keep reading the conversation while a pic is coming over the abacus line.
