I pulled my carpet today and found some rust. This is probably why my passenger side torque box is destroyed, versus my very nice looking drivers' side.

The nasty rust demon rears it's ugly head again. That is a very common place for Mavericks to rust out. In fact, it looks exactly like our 76' did when we pulled the carpet back. It can be fixed though. Have you looked under the rest of the carpet to see if it's bad anywhere else? Nows the time to check it out in case the floors need fixing too.

Yes I did Jean, in fact, the rest of the floors are looking great, there is a slight spot on the drivers' side where the cable goes through, easy fix there. Also, on the passenger side there is a little "trap door" in the metal that looked as if it was sealed up with some adhesive, any idea what that is? I'll get a picture of it later.
