Well after not driving my Mav for 2 days I went out to take her to a show today. Not to show, just look. But the 250 won't start:( . Well, it's time to pull out the tools! Awh yes, a goodday!!! (I enjoy this over the computer controlled crap).
I checked the ignition was sparking, yep... sparking away.
Is the fuel sustem working??? I changed the fuel filter. Try starting to old girl again..... Nope no start. Hmmmmmm, I'm now taking the carb off and completly cleaning it. What an easy carb to play with. Then I put a bucket under the fuel line fron the pump. Try starting again and the fuel pressure looks wimpy. So I took the fuel line off the pump and blew it out. (Of course using an air compressor):bs: , no change in the pressure outlet. Then I noticed the fuel pump is wet on top.... I didn't tighten the clamp on the line going to the inlet on the pump. Yep, the Fricken Mechanic was ME:huh: . Oh yeah, I happy!
Now the car is a killer Mav.............
