Any one know the source of those front air dams I've seen on some of the Maverick pics in the galleries?
Here is a thread that has a lengthy discussion about them http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=3863&page=1&pp=20&highlight=mas
I got mine from Mas Racing. They don't have a website so you'll have to call them. 651-644-6811 I think the spoiler is $49.95 plus about $20 for shipping.
Thanks Rayzor. From reading through the thread, it looks like you got real up close and personal with the air dam.....good tips and advice, thanks again. The Unlimited Products rear spoiler set looks good too.....and generally cheaper than some used ones are going for on ebay, when you can find 'em. And considering how Maverick front and rear valances seem to be so prone to getting beat up, UP's fiberglass versions might be a good idea too. Might have to give MAS and UP some business soon.
Are there any airdams without the valance panel molded in with the spoiler? Like just a bolt on spoiler without the valance panel attatched. Maybe one off a mustang will work?
I think that's what they've been talking about..... the challenge of fitting the spoiler to the valance. Heck, if there's a valance with a spoiler already molded in available, I want it!
Oh ok thanks. Those pics made it seem to me that the spoiler and valance were one piece. I shall be calling MAS soon.
Spoiler To clarify the spoiler is from MAS racing . And is a one piece fiber glass spoiler that you attach to your front valance.making it two pieces. (Yes I think it will fit a 73 Comet too.)Attached are a few more picture.
Tom that looks GREAT!!! you should see if you can get a fiberglaas Co. to manufacture them for resale. I know it is probably an impossiblity but it would be cool to pop those out of a mold.
