about five years back I bought a front bumper of ebay for my 71 maverick. The guy said it has never been on a car.
When I went to put it on it was like 1/2 to 1 in. short on each side :hmmm:
I put it up to my old one and it was alittle shorter.
So I was wondering if it was for a 69 or 70 maverick. It looks the same as the 71:huh: . Its just been hanging in my shop and I thought it was time to try to figure out what it for..

I wonder if you could trim it a little on the ends and get it to fit. Be interesting since it would hug the body closer. Sort of a Chip Foose kind of thing.

That sucks. Now you have to go buy a Pinto.

    NO pinto for me :rofl2:
I looked on ebay and I think I can get some of the money back.
One sold for $98.00 and the one I got is in great shape.
