That's what we've found that fits, no one makes them for Mavericks or Comets. I guess it all depends on exactly what you're looking for?

I have contacted the company that makes the one I bought for my Maverick/Camaro valance to see if he would make something Maverick specific. I think he will, it is a small family business. The only issue is he will need a lower valance to work off of, and I don't have one to ship him.

I will keep everyone posted as to his response.

The angle of the Shelby spoiler is ok IMO. I have a modified Pinto spoiler that ended up looking much like a 67-68 Camaro spoiler and it rubbed the ground very easy. I ended up damaging bad driving thru a shallow ditch. If I go with a spoiler it will be the Shelby one most likely.

I just heard back from the spoiler guy. He said he has actually been thinking about doing one for a while. He wanted to know if they were the same through the years, or if they were year specific.

To my limited knowledge, there is the early skinny bumper and the later park bench years. That is it right? Do the Comets need anything different?

Any Maverick/Comet with a front valence would all be the same. So...1970-1973 would all be the same. 1974 and up has no valence.

73s valance is unique. so 70-72, 73, then 74 up are the 3 different ones

I would say 1973 is similar enough to 1970-1972 that one would work on both. That is why I lumped them together.

what would be even better is if we had a master thread(sticky would be best with the popularity of this subject) where many people posted their specific year/model version used, mods required(if any), and supplier used. Oh.. and more than one small pic would be nice to see as well so people can get full perspective's before purchase.

Personally, and like the OP, I prefer a steeper rake and slightly more pronounced wrap around to the edge of both fenders. Like the red Comet < here > in Joe Dirt's gallery.

Deeper and more aggressively raked chin's used on a fairly moderately lowered car may not be the greatest choice .. but is always my preference on any muscle car.

This my fiberglass Pinto spoiler. It fit the valance but I had to apply parting agent and glass the corners to fit (back in the 80s). It V's in more than the Shelby spoiler. It needs repairs where I drug it in a ditch but I may use it. Not sure.

wow! i wouldnt even be able to find a pinto chin spoiler so im still wondering about the mustang one ok so i guess my question would be to the guys that have one (a mustang spoiler) what year is the closest? and more like the mach 1 look? im not really to into the more sraight out shelby look allthough i know it would prob. would be the smart way to go to have it not get ripped off,i tryed looking for anykind of M.A.S website to show theres or if someone can post a pic of the m.a.s one on there car would be great
