ive got a hand full of bolts here that are for the front cover and water pump and also a timing pointer but idk which is which or waht goes where. anyone have a diagram or something? can i bolt up the front cover without the waterpump on the motor yet or do some bolts go through the waterpump and cover and tread into the block?

ive also got a chrome transdapt alt bracket but it didnt come with any directions. i guess they thought youd be able to see how the old one came off but i didnt have one to start with

The front of my engine was put together already when I bought it. I do not recall taking any bolts off to mount the water pump. I remember having to try different length bolts here and there. Here are some pics that may help .... I used stainless bolts.(y)

Timing cover will bolt on without the water pump, but there are some of the bolts that go through it to hold the water pump on. You can tell which ones, they're where the pump mounts.....

The four longest bolts go thru the pump and cover. The bolt needs to be at least a half inch longer than the hole is deep.
