I finally got my collector plates for my 1973 Comet two door. It has only a back, temporary tag on it now. It dawned on me that there is no mount (frame) on the front for a plate. My local parts store did not have a mount that would fit the (2)holes that are located just under the front bumper. I looked at my old dealer brochures. I see no plate frame. Is there a stock plate frame I should be looking for to put on there?
on my 71 there are 2 L shaped brackets that bolt to the front bracket and then the license bolts to them. somebody else may be able to show a picture of it.
