since i have removed extra weight offf the front end of my 72 grabber, the front end stands to high and i would like to lower it does anyone have any ideas? i was thinking the 6 cylinder car front spring may work. I am looking for as much weight transfer as possible. thanks

Just cut a coil off each spring and reinstall them. That'll do the trick, and won't cost you anything...

6 cyl springs are often the same, or close enough not to matter. i took out an I6-250 with ac, put in a 302 no ac w/headers, & moved battery to the trunk. front of my '75 went up over 1". the only neg to cutting a coil off is you effectively increase the spring rate which stiffens the front end.

yes, but this is the drag racing section. for weight transfer you need a softer spring rate with more stored energy (coils) to help the front lift, like the moroso front springs (not recommended for street use). gent said he wanted max transfer. he didnt say how much street time his ride would see, if any.
