Hey all, does anyone have a picture of the front valence brackets on the car, where they mount? Not the long flat pieces on the sides, but the other ones. I have all the parts except for those, and I was going to fabricate something.

    Thanks!

If that is the only other bracket, then yes! I had no idea it attached in that location... i thought it would have been more toward the middle. Thank you!

I installed the new skinny bumper/ bumper insert/ valence today... the front of the valence seems flimsy, is there supposed to be something attaching it to the car, like a bar, or are the bolts simply for a license plate bracket? Either way I will make some sort of support to strengthen it. IMG_3444.JPG

You needed to change the center grill support as well. The 1970-1972 style is made to support the front valence in that middle hole.

Ah, any idea where I might find something like that? Sounds hard to find, I have a feeling I may just have to fabricate it to make it work. Also where would I find a license plate bracket? I assume they are not reproduced..

The parts I put on the car is what came with it, so I'm in the dark as far as what is supposed to be there

This is what the front center grille support looks like on the 70-72 cars.
