Hi there i lend the car to my mom this morning when she got back she told me it was smeeling like burned so i whent and lifted the car up to see what was wrong. There it was the driver side drum had came off all the bearings are gone. I was wondering if its safe to use the same drum or purchase another one.

Hello, and welcome to the board. I would say inspect the drum to make sure it's not damaged, but to be on the safe side you may want to purchase a new one.

When a bearing fails like that the bearing cage can weld itself to the spindle and the race will spin inside the drum. If this has occurred you may need to replace the drum as well as the spindle.

Good thing here,,,if you repair, look at spindle and see if it looks burnt, blueish color. If you are not sure, have someone who knows what to look for check it. You dont want this to happen again! Also check the other side. Good luck
