what is required to change to a fuel cell and ditch the old tank? my repair man said i needed a new fuel system anyway thanks for the help
I was looking at the prices of the fuel cells, yikes! I'm definitely not the right person to ask about it but make sure you consider pricing too.
to goto a fuel cell, first you need a fuel cell. the fuel level sending unit probly wont work with the gage so you will need a gage if you want to moniter the level. some fuel hose, fittings and clamps
If you are using foam blocks in the fuel cell, the lever type sending unit won't work. It will get caught up on the foam. I had to buy one from Jaz that consists of an aluminun tube with a float built inside it. They come in different lengths and different ohm ranges. Be warned, they are also pricy.
my fuel cell has a baffeld area that has the level sensor in it and i have foam for the rest of the cell but havent put it in because i have felt it needed it.
