Well...played with the delay box, finally got a hang of it....but I need to take a LOT out of it. Couldn't do it last night though because they were running .400 tree instead of .500. Explains why my lights were so bad. Anyway, I did make 2 passes...one slightly sideways (dirt on a poorly-maintained right lane) and a decent run in the left. Not spectacular, but average. 6.14 1/8 113 mph...1.36 on the 60'. With the humidity as high as it was and the track seeping water, it was about as good as it was gonna get. I was done for the night and there were some 4 wheelers running (and I had mine with me) so I thought what the heck. I ended up running against my brother's '05 Eiger 400 Suzuki. I had a 1.99 60' and went 13.10 in the 1000' at 72 mph....brother went 18-something at 50.

Good gosh, my 4 wheeler is faster than my SVO Mustang! Plus the 2nd gear 100' wheelie was even more fun. Worst part is, I had a .508 light (on .500 tree) and bro had a .506. Maybe we should stick to the 4 wheelers on sat. nights.

IIRC, I think I saw a NHRA class for snowmobiles in the rule book a while back. Maybe I'm wrong.

i have heard of them but never seen them......snowmobiles with a ( i hate to say it) chevy 350 in them....running drag races....

    not sure the details...but i thought to myself...why put a v-8 in a snowmobile...then i thought ( redneck racing.....sorry folks...didnt mean to offend anyone.....)

whats the last thing you hear righ before a red neck dies?

    hey ya'll....watch this...

i spent some time in kentucky and saw some strange things....including the fact that my maverick had a boat gas tank in the trunk.... and real thick zip ties holding the carb in place.....

    things that make you go...hmmmmm

Actually it's hey ya'll watch this......followed promptly by hold my beer:) one of the guy's at work has gotten involved in lawn mower raceing......strange but true....oddly enuff he did'nt find my comments very funny.1 refering to his 4 horse stock trailer as his "inclosed trailer"
2 the other 11 horse briggs in the bed of his truck as "the back up motor"
3 and finally(for now) as now fixing up another for his teen age daughters boyfriend to race as a team effort......
I just figured that what the hay......in Nascar the bigger teams almost always do better:huh: :biglaugh:
