Went to the Fun Ford Weekend in Fontana, CA at the new California Dragway. There were some great cars and it was really cool. Only one Mav though a '72. He runs low 10's I think with a windsor stroker. I think I'm getting reeled back into drag racing...something about a built engine with a real rough idle and lifting the front wheels off of the ground about 3 feet that gets me excited. Can't wait to get my 72 built up a bit. -Erick
i was thinking of going to the ffw in fontana. dave and kathy danish that run the track are great people. but i was in bakersfield from tuesday through sunday last week so i thought i'd better spend some time at home. i will be at the ffw at firebird in phoenix, nov 13&14.
