Here we go... another step towards making my maverick run (only taking a lot longer then i had hoped). So, My fuse box is in pretty bad shape (Rusted to the point that some of the fuses are even rusted). And one fuse spot (a middle one, 20amp) has fallen out and taken the connector with it. Anyone have a recommendation on how to fix this? Is there a place i can buy a new box(i've looked around.. all i see is covers or add ons. But the box appears to be un-boltable..I think)? (Sorry for those i haven't replied to lately, Been spending a lot of time searching for a new job, haven't been on here much)
the box unbolts from the fire wall, but is attaced to the dash harness. you probly either need to remove that whole harness and fuse block and get one a good one from a member on here. i know that 72 is different from 73. i dont know if older ones are different. you might be able to pull it down and some how rebuild it.
IMO you should just buy a universal Ford wiring harness from Painless Wiring....New fuse box and new wiring.....My car caught fire as a result of old wiring....just a thought
