Is there a sealer that can stand gasoline?

I finally found where that whistling sound that I thought came from my carb comes from. The carb is a spread bore and there is a spacer between it and the manifold, there is vacuum leak between the manifold and the spacer.

The best thing would be to get a new square bore carb and throw away the spacer, but that will have to wait.

if you know anyone in the military, ask them for it... we used it on fuel cells on aircraft.. it works AWESOME

The gas tank renew kit called "KREAM" , works great. It withstands all gasolines, racing fuel, alcohol too. When I worked at a Ford dealership...We had a 2 part epoxy called "CREST". Worked better than JB WELD.....sealed the tank while gas was still leaking......Great stuff!

Unfortunetly the base was shut down last autumn  and everything was moved to east europe I think.

This is just a vacuum leak if I can't find a sealer I will try to make a new gasket from thicker material.
