I got this barn find Maverick back in Nov 09 . I have it all striped down. I want to build a gasser for the street with a straight beam from speedway motors . This car will be very simple steel wheels on back with cheeter slicks , 9" rear
, c4 and a warmed over 302 with a solid lumpy cam , sun tach on the dash and
4"x15" drag wheels & tires . I will install a roll bar and want to know if mustang
frame connecters could work on a Maverick. The car is simple butter yellow and out on Long Island gasser are in. I know most gassers are falcons but I think the
Maverick will make very cool gassers . PS speedway sells the whole I beam kit with disk brakes for 850.00 .

    thanks

seems like the local cat nuts here on long island think it will make a great gasser
and I will name it Rat Poison as there are way too many big block chevys around . Old drag chevys are a dime a doz But old drag Fords are way cool.
